The day of sun burns, arm floaties, and the occasional beer to manifest itself exactly into an endless summer, is here. Introducing Sun Protection Factor, a fruit punch milkshake IPA, brewed in collaboration with Modist Brewing Company in Minneapolis, and Portage Brewing Company in Walker, MN.
The story of this collaboration comes from a shared connection between two of our brewers who grew up in the small town Walker - alongside our focus on experimentation. We brewed this recipe at each of our facilities, and will be releasing it to the public on Friday, May 25th, at 12PM. Crowler cans and draft will be available. No limit.
This juicy sipper was loaded with pounds of pineapple, strawberry, mango, coconut, and vanilla - layered on top of a NEIPA base, made with wheat and oats, lactose, and a citra, mosaic, and denali hop bill (7.5%). It packs a fruity punch, and suits any Memorial Day excursion that you can think of (trust us, we've checked). So, get that cooler rinsed out and iced down, and pack it full of some SPF. Limited quantities.
