Hello from North Country. We want to start first by thanking each of you, the family members, friends, fans, and liquor store partners, who have showed us relentless support over these past two weeks. You truly have turned a dire situation into something we may actually be able to manage for awhile. As I'm sure you can imagine, closing our taproom indefinitely has brought a series of logistical and financial challenges to our doors, but we're adapting to increase regional can distribution and a curbside taproom services. Please continue stay tuned for important beer releases, COVID-19 updates as they relate to our business, and ways we can all stay connected. We wish you all good health, and a refrigerator stocked full of tasty craft beer. On ahead.

CURBSIDE BEER ORDERING
Our curbside service is up and running, and with a few small changes, that will go into effect tomorrow. Please follow the process for ordering below:
All orders, for both crowler cans and merchandise, should be made online, here. Customers may purchase cans upon arrival, but we're encouraging pre-orders as they help us prepare for your arrival, and better practice social distancing. Save your receipt from Squarespace, and bring it with you to the taproom.
Once arriving to the brewery, please feel free to stay in your vehicle and call us at (218) 547-6217. Give us your order number, and we'll grab your cans and run them out to you. Simply show us your order confirmation, and your valid ID verifying you're 21+. Then, off you go.
Please note, we will no longer be filling growlers, so please leave those at home. Shoot us an email at hello@portagebeer.com if you have any questions pertaining to an order.
JUICETREE DROPS FRIDAY
Juicetree returns, with a series of small changes, making this version more tropical than all previous attempts. Now included in this recipe, are Sultana hops which can be explained perfectly as a glass of straight pineapple juice. The alcoholic bite we all know and love is still there, making this a very balanced New England DIPA. Available for pre-order now, here, and pick-up tomorrow at 3PM.
COVID-19 Update: Minnesota Craft Breweries Are Essential
Amidst the upcoming shelter-in-place executive order, news has been passed to us, relating to our ability to continue operating. In the safest manner possible, we plan to continue brewing and producing on a limited scale. This notice was sent out to us yesterday, from the Minnesota Craft Brewers Guild:
"Breweries can stay open! Breweries have been deemed an essential business, so you can continue to sell beer-to-go under current guidelines (curbside & delivery of crowlers, 750ml bottles, and growlers). The Executive Order follows federal guidance that allows beverage manufacturers to remain open and distributing their products, and specifically clarifies that the term "beverages" includes alcoholic beverages. The restrictions on places of public accommodation adopted in Executive Orders 20-04 and 20-18, which required taprooms to close, remain in effect and have been extended to May 1, 2020."
