Three of our top hops used in 2022 have made their way into a beer. Riding that thin line between tradition and innovation, we layered the Strata CGX hop from Crosby Hops, along with our hand selected Citra and Mosaic. Aromatics of strawberry taffy, orange peel, and berry tea. Assertive bitterness with a classic West Coast IPA finish.

Introducing our first wet hop beer. Brewed with 100% Amarillo® wet hops and T90 pellets, all grown at Crosby Hop Farm in Oregon’s beautiful Willamette Valley. The farm operates a 100% Salmon Safe and Global G.A.P. certified facility, helping to put people and planet at the forefront of their operations. The beer showcases a floral aroma of orange, melon, and apricot - and was made with 100% organic pale and munich malts.

Our favorite cold weather IPA is here, showcasing warming malts and hop character. Expect a floral bouquet of berry, pine, and citrus aromatics, with a hint of caramel and dates.

We like to modernize beer and use as many innovative products as we can get our hands on, in hopes of making you a more interesting beer experience. Everything You Wanted is just that inside of a New England IPA. Fermented with thiolized yeast to expand an already intense fruit medley from our standard double dry hop bill. We utilized Nelson, Citra Cryo, Sabro, and Cashmere, to deliver what we think is among the most aromatics IPAs to date. Sauv blanc grapes, ripe pineapple, and tangerine peels fill the glass, with warming alcohol to keep everything in balance.

We welcome back a project that let us get lost in the clouds. Utilizing innovative products across our whirlpool, early dry hop, and late dry hop stages, we were able to pack agressive hop character into this New England IPA. Sultana Lupulin, Vic Secret, Citra Cryo, and Sabro were implemented to express powerful medley of tropical fruits. Expect overripe pineapple, pear jelly beans, and orange slices.

There are few brighter things than a ripe, juicy orange. Sweet, slightly tart, bright, invigorating. Introducing As Light Bends, a double dry hopped New England IPA utilizing a heavy load of freshly peeled oranges directly from Florida grown juice processors. Citra Cryo, Cashmere Cryo, and Amarillo Cryo provide a solid base of orange and tangerine peel aromatics, delivering a beer that's as close to a glass of fresh orange juice as you can get.

Let Me Dream is an IPA that broke a lot of traditional rules. Employing dense hop oil additions at every single step in our brewing process, helped us achieve a beer that's agressively aromatic, juicy, and warming for the season ahead. A careful blend of Sultana Salvo, Vic Secret, Citra, Sabro Cryo, and Amarillo Cryo enriched notes of juicy mango, pineapple, tangerine peels, and coconut into the beer.

Our Brewer Lead, Craig's, first ever recipe, utilizing his favorite hop we use at Portage. Brewed with 100% Simcoe and Simcoe Cryo hops, with a traditional West Coast IPA base. Dry, fruit forward aromatics with some slight pine, followed by a crisp finish.

A collaboration for pizza. We teamed up with our friends down at Fire & Nice Taphouse, who specialize in slices of pie alongside an array of tasty craft beers. We designed the perfect pizza pairing, a West Coast IPA hopped with Columbus Cryo, Mosaic, Simcoe Cryo, and Simcoe hops. Dry, dank, with refreshing aromatics of pine, berries, and citrus peel. Perfect next to a slice of your favorite Fire & Nice pie.

All In A Daze, Juicy India Pale Ale (7.6%)

All In A Daze, Juicy India Pale Ale (7.6%)

A hybrid IPA project, riding the line between New England IPA and West Coast IPA. Packed with soft juicy notes of citrus peel, peach, and berry undertones, but with a more assertive crispness from a lower finishing gravity and higher ABV value. A great warmer for the cooling seasons ahead, while still delivering that juicy character we all know and love.

A collaboration with Nouvelle Brewing to push the outer limits of what beer can be. Utilizing innovative hops, terpenes, and an aggressive charge of coconut, this beer takes tropical aromatics to the furthest dimension. Expect notes of ripe pineapple, juicy mango, and coconut milk.

We worked directly with Crosby Hop Farms’ Salmon Safe Certified Amarillo and Comet hops, where we’re hoping to make a difference on irrigation water and pesticide use, restoration of stream buffers, and biodiversity improvements where these hops are grown. The grains, all organic Briess malts, lending a slight malt complex to balace the hops. Floral aromatics of orange, melon, and peach.

A house favorite of hop oils we absolutely love, producing aromatics of orange, sweet fruits, and tangerine peel. Softest of mouthfeel, utilized high amounts of flaked oats and wheat. Double dry hopped during active fermentation to maximize biotransformation hop compounds.
